A short list of papers presented at PHOTOPTICS 2014 conference, related with optical materials, will be invited to submit to publication in a special issue of Materials Open Journal (ISSN 1996-1944). Materials is a SCIE indexed journal, having a 5-year impact factor of 1.679, which provides a forum for publishing papers which advance the in-depth understanding of the relationship between the structure, the properties or the functions of all kinds of materials, namely optical materials and their applications. Editor will offer free processing charges for the five best manuscripts.
